When Wishes Come True: The DMS Christmas Miracle for NF Kids Enters Its Second Year.

What’s the greatest gift of all? To help children who are living with a rare disease. That’s why, just before Christmas, we launched our charity campaign DMS Christmas Miracle — this time in support of NF Kids, children affected by neurofibromatosis. And our wish came true: we received generous support from so many people.

Our Christmas Miracle: Support for Children Living With NF.

NF stands for neurofibromatosis — a genetic condition that can cause a wide range of symptoms, from skin pigment spots and scoliosis to tumors. Learning difficulties are also among the many challenges faced by NF children. Every parent has a chance of having a child affected by neurofibromatosis — which means it concerns all of us. These children spend a lot of time in hospitals. There is currently no cure and no approved treatment for neurofibromatosis. But what we can offer is help — through donations. And to everyone who supported us: thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Together, We Gave Strength.

We at DMS kicked things off with a donation of €1,500 — and together, we achieved so much more! All of the funds raised during the DMS Christmas Miracle went to the NF Children’s Clinic at AKH Vienna, home to Austria’s first specialist outpatient unit for children and adolescents with neurofibromatosis. The goal is to continue developing the clinic to ensure long-term access to high-quality medical and psychological care. The DMS charity campaign ran until January 31, 2018 and was our small contribution to bringing joy, hope, and fulfilled dreams to NF children and their families as they entered the new year. For every donation, we added another €5 on top, making each contribution go even further.

Special thanks go to Mr. Claas Röhl for the wonderful collaboration — and to everyone who made this Christmas miracle possible.
