That’s how Alexander, Project Manager at DMS since 2019, starts our conversation. And the message is clear: he’s a perfectionist through and through. Everything he does has structure, purpose, and most importantly – it works. Whether he’s managing workflows, organizing rollouts, coordinating with suppliers, or ensuring client satisfaction, Alexander approaches every task with precision. And keeping clients happy is what matters most to him.

My Goal: Happy Clients.

That’s the driving force behind everything Alexander does. Client satisfaction is his personal standard – and with a role that touches almost every part of DMS operations, that’s no small feat. When asked what his job actually involves, he laughs and says: pretty much everything. This says a lot about the flat hierarchies and strong team spirit at DMS. Everyone helps out, everyone has each other’s back – and sometimes, that means doing a bit of everything. Alexander is no exception. He supports wherever needed and often refers to himself as the man with Plan A – for shipping, logistics, warehousing, and beyond. One thing is certain: at DMS, there’s always something to do, and it’s rarely the same two days in a row.

No Day Is Like the Other.

Alexander appreciates that variety. While he approaches every task seriously, he remains calm, focused, and relaxed. With years of experience in the industry, he brings deep technical expertise to the team, which made his start at DMS smooth and quick. He already knew the processes – and more importantly, he values the mutual support and equality that define the DMS work culture. What excites him most is that even the same projects present new challenges every day. A water leak, a power outage, a non-responsive player – it’s always something. But Alexander always finds a solution. With access to almost all test systems in-house, he doesn’t need to delay answers. He knows the tools, systems, and workflows – whether it’s wiring or CMS – and approaches every problem with one mindset: standard is not our standard.

Standard Is Never Our Standard.

That principle is what makes DMS unique. As a full-service agency and digitalization partner, DMS never offers off-the-shelf solutions. And every project requires someone like Alexander, who brings precision, expertise, and the flexibility to adapt. And while Alexander jokes that he mostly travels from Floridsdorf to Ottakring, he’s always involved when it counts. Whether on-site or remote, he’s the one with the answers. When we call him the Master of Solutions, he grins and says: that’s actually a great title.

Every Project Is a Favorite Project.

Whether it’s hardware-focused or content-driven, large or small – Alexander enjoys every project equally. For him, client satisfaction is the ultimate reward. There’s no strict process at DMS. The team stays flexible, adapts as needed, and works collaboratively to find the best solution. For Alexander, it’s not about hierarchy or obligation, but about working together as equals. His approach: friendly collaboration instead of rigid instructions. And whatever the task, he brings deep technical knowledge – something inspired early on by his father, who worked in IT. That family connection brings up another point: how well DMS supports work–life balance. Alexander, a stepfather to an 18-year-old, says the flexibility at DMS – especially during the pandemic – made it easy to juggle home office and homeschooling. And thanks to his calm, no-drama approach, it all worked out smoothly.

Alexander doesn’t have much to complain about – and values the freedom to communicate however it works best. At DMS, it’s about results, not clock-watching. Whether through a quick chat message or a walk across the office, the goal is always: let’s get it done – together.

The Champion of Pub Sports.

Outside of work, Alexander is just as focused – and just as relaxed. Growing up in a pub, his sports are table football and darts. And not just casually: he’s competed in the Table Football World Championship and placed in the top ten. He also plays darts in Austria’s second-highest league. A perfectionist here, too – and always content. Asked what’s left on his bucket list, Alexander surprises us. It’s not about traveling – though he’s enjoyed every place he’s been, from Mexico to the U.S. to Turkey. His goal is simple: grow old. And we’re guessing he’ll do just that at DMS. Because when you’ve got someone this driven, technically skilled, and quietly reliable, you want them on your team for the long run.
