Circle Founder Eric Weisz Explains His Solution and Its Future Potential

Demand planning helps retailers better predict sales, measure advertising performance more precisely, and use resources more efficiently across projected sales volumes. Misjudging production or storage needs can be costly. Circl is a tool that quickly adapts and learns on its own, making accurate forecasts based on patterns and experience.

In the past, retailers often relied on averages and gut feeling to make decisions. But as Weisz explains:

“Today, the trends are in the data. Merchants don’t need to be data specialists. Internal data points combined with external factors — so-called exogenous features like weather, economic conditions, holiday calendars, and promotions — are all linked.”

According to Weisz, three to five key factors are usually enough — as long as they’re the right ones. These vary depending on the retailer's industry, dependencies, and business model. Looking ahead, Circl could also support personnel planning and connect with retail media systems.
