With Verena, we’re welcoming the newest member of the DMS team – and sharing what brought this creative mind into project management. Spoiler: it was the right move. Not just for Verena, but for the whole DMS crew, our partners, and our clients.

Designed for success.

Before joining DMS, Verena studied at the renowned NDU St. Pölten and kicked off her career as a graphic designer in leading Austrian ad agencies. Then came her next step: project management.

For Verena, that was a natural evolution.

“Creativity is a strength in any role,” she says. “I bring in more imaginative ways of thinking, but I also understand the tasks my colleagues face. My design background helps me see how much effort each step takes – and what challenges come with it.”

Challenge? Accepted.

The more demanding a project, the more exciting it is for her. Verena combines solid experience with curiosity and drive – always ready to learn, grow, and go further.

Always moving forward.

Standing still? Not Verena’s style.

She’s open, communicative, and thrives on learning something new every day. What she loves most about DMS – besides the team that welcomed her from day one – is that her work never stands still.

When asked where she sees herself in the future, she smiles:

“I don’t want to pin that down. Things are always changing – and I’m excited to see where it goes.”

We agree. With her know-how, creativity, and openness, good things are bound to happen – especially as DMS keeps evolving.

Natural intelligence meets artificial.

Talking about AI, Verena is confident: she sees artificial intelligence not as a threat, but as a chance to work smarter. Whatever the tool, she believes it’s about how we use it. When used right, AI can make teamwork smoother and creativity sharper. And one thing’s for sure – human creativity, skill, and instinct will always remain irreplaceable. While some fear new technologies, Verena leans in, exploring new ways to make them work for her – and always, creatively.

During her onboarding, Verena has been managing smaller projects to get familiar with our workflows and clients. But we can’t wait to see her dive into the big ones – from our powerful Instore Radio and unmissable Digital Signage to trendsetting Live Shopping experiences and more.

And with her creative roots, she’s also adding spark to our Digital Signage Content.

When she’s not bringing ideas to life at DMS, Verena unwinds with her dog Carlo – often out in the countryside where she finds calm, balance, and inspiration for what’s next.

A Lower Austrian at heart, she draws energy from nature – and brings it right back into her work. Because the next project that’s simply wow? You can bet Verena will be part of it.
